Models by Customizers
The following list of models are those built by Customizers. "What's
a Customizer?", you may be asking yourself. A Customizer is someone
more concerned with the nitty gritty of adding extensive detailing
to a ship (photo etched parts, rebuilding inaccurate parts, etc, etc).
Obviously Customizer are capable of producing higher quality models,
but with much longer build and research times.
You can always tell a Customizer when you see one or converse with
one on a message board. They strive for perfection and usually leave
messages like the following:
"I have long thought the rivet details of models I've seen have
not looked just right; I thought the height seemed to much; while
I know people like to see details like these; I want mine to be realistic
in every way..." - Steve Nuttall - building a 1/48 scale Yamato.
(mind you his Yamato is being scratch built, but you get my meaning,
right?)
